I found my passion for mental health during my 2nd semester of nursing school. After graduating with my BSN in 2007, I started my first job as a psychiatric nurse and never looked back. I earned my MSN in 2021, now practicing as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the Wichita area.

I have experience in providing medication management for a variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, insomnia, OCD, personality disorders, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. I take pride in my ability to connect with my patients and their families.

I value open and honest communication and strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental place to heal. I am very deliberate in my decisions, gathering a thorough history and reviewing treatment options to ensure the best possible outcome. I promise to work for and with you on your own unique journey to wellness.

Amy is accepting new patients 16 and up at the Derby office on Thursdays 4PM-7PM and Saturdays 8AM-3PM.
