How Does Luminary Manage My Practice?

Luminary specializes in managing behavioral health practices—with locations in three states. Luminary handles all credentialing, billing, onboarding, physical site management, malpractice insurance, patient scheduling, and marketing and development to help grow your patient reputation and career. We know that providers struggle with managing the business aspects of their practices, and we have experienced administrators who will help you manage, grow, and maintain your practice.

If Luminary Does Everything, What Does a Provider Do?

At Luminary, providers see patients and complete patient records—nothing more. Importantly, we have adopted the use of an artificial intelligence system that helps draft your patient notes—so while it is your responsibility to see patients and complete patient records, we continue to work to decrease your patient record-keeping responsibilities as we grow.

How are providers compensated?

Luminary retains providers as W2 employees and 1099 contractors. While our W2 employment rates vary by state (based on state taxes), our 1099 contractor rates are as follows:

• Psychiatry Services: 65% of Reimbursement
• Counseling Services 67% of Reimbursement
• Psychological Testing Services: 70% of Reimbursement

In our current markets (CO, KS, and TX), the compensation received by our providers exceeds at least 150% of the market average. We will continue to ensure providers are compensated at the highest margins available in the market for brick-and-mortar outpatient behavioral health services.
